this fan then kills himself.The lyrics throught the song explain the fans thoughts and is acted out as him writing thses letters t

o eminem himself.The ending of the song is the responce to this fan as well as recognising that his fan has died.
The relation between the lyrics and the video are shown all the way through the song as the fan aswell as eminem are singing the words to the song wile writing letters to each other for example at 3:52 to 4:14 while the fan is writing the letter wile muttering lyrics. close ups are used throught the song to reveal the expression shown by the fan aswell as eminem.low angle shots are also used to show the mood of the song.

mis-en-scene is used through out the video for example lighting is low key resembling the meleoncolly mood shown through the video. The use of costume through out the relates to the lyrics and narrative of the video,for example the fan is wearing the same white shirt through the video showing his realation with the rapper only untill he is about to end his life he is seen in a black hoodie showing the abbsence of his care for the rapper any more.

sfx of slow motion used used to capture the epic part of the narritive when the fan decides to end his life seen from 6:11 to 6:21 the music also works with this to helpadd to the susspence as it also cuts out leaving only one instrument playing this works well for the following of the narrative for the audience. Overall this music vdeo challenges most hip hop videos as the tend to have refrences to women ,drugs and violence.this challenges hip hop by the narrative being about a serious issue aswell as a pace gaining cutting rhythm shown in the first half of the video instead of a fast cutting rate shown in most hip hop videos.
